Anna Moen

Anna (Swanson) Moen passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023 at her home in Littleton, Colorado. During her 101 years she brought joy to the lives of many; most recently the caregivers, volunteers, and other residents of her assisted living home. Anna was born in Spooner, Minnesota and lived in Baudette until she and her husband George moved to Colorado in 1965 to be closer to her sister and nieces….and enjoy milder winters. While in Baudette she was a telephone operator for Northwest Bell. In Denver, she was a switchboard operator for the May Company stores for 21 years until her retirement. Her husband George passed away in August of 2009.

She will be remembered for her easy smile and love of everyone. If you met Anna you were instantly in love with her. She will be dearly missed by the family she left behind and the others whose lives she touched.

Though she lived in the Denver area, Baudette was her favorite topic. She would light up anytime someone mentioned they had visited Minnesota. If you would like to honor her memory please consider a donation to the Baudette Depot, PO Box 1238, Baudette, MN 56623
